How does the POS switch languages?

Language is a setting on each staff account and on each receipt layout. Sign in as a user set to Korean and the register is in Korean; print the receipt layout set to English and Arabic and the customer gets both.

  1. Choose the business default. The language new users start with.
  2. Let each user choose theirs. Cashiers change it in their profile.
  3. Set the receipt languages. One or two per layout, per store.
  4. Add second-language product names. In the import file or on the product.
  5. Fix any wording. Custom translations override any label.

Language questions

No. 01

Can staff use the POS in their own language?

Yes. Each user chooses their interface language, so one cashier can work in Spanish, another in Korean and the owner in English, on the same register.

No. 02

Which languages are available?

English, Spanish, Arabic, Urdu and Korean are set up for this edition. The software also supports custom translations, so other languages such as Polish, Vietnamese or Hindi can be added.

No. 03

Are Arabic and Urdu right-to-left?

Yes. The interface mirrors properly for Arabic and Urdu, not just the text direction, and receipts print right-to-left.

No. 04

Can a receipt have two languages?

Yes. Receipt layouts can show two languages, for example English and Arabic, which UAE outlets commonly use.

No. 05

Can product names be in two languages?

Yes. Keep the English name for staff and searching, and add a second-language name for receipts and the online store.

No. 06

Can I edit the wording?

Yes. Any label can be changed with a custom translation, so the screen uses the words your staff use.
