Our target
We aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA across getbottleshoppos.com.
What we have done
- Colour pairs checked for contrast in every theme and palette (4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for large text and controls).
- Full keyboard use: visible focus, a skip link, and focus kept inside open menus and dialogs.
- Every menu, search panel and dialog has a visible close button, closes with Escape and returns focus.
- Respect for “reduce motion” settings, plus an on-site switch to turn motion off.
- Text resizing to 200% without loss of content, and an on-site text-size control.
- Right-to-left layouts for Arabic and Urdu pages.
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
The accessibility panel
The round button at the bottom of every page opens settings for text size, high contrast, reduced motion and highlighted links. Settings are remembered on your device.
Known limitations
- The interactive 3D case and the moving engraving are decorative; the same information is available in text and tables next to them.
- Embedded maps come from a third party and may not be fully accessible; the information they show is also written on the page.
